General Transcription Services

General Transcription Services provides general, business and legal transcription services.  We can transcribe from the following formats:

• Digital Audio and Video Files
• RealPlayer, WAV, MP3, DSS
• CDs and DVDS
• Micro-cassettes (additional fees apply)
  

Transcripts are delivered via email in MS Word format.  We accept business checks or credit/debit cards through Paypal.

Our standard turnaround time is three (3) business days per hour of audio. Shorter turnaround times are available if needed.  Please contact us for more information.

Rates

Rates start at $1.10 per minute of audio for clear audio with little to no background noise or static, 1-2 speakers, speakers with no accents or light accents and cleaned up transcription (non-verbatim, um, ah, stutters removed).

You can expect the rate to increase 25 cents per audio minute for poor quality audio, multiple speakers, heavy accents, time coding or strict verbatim.

Please note, until we are able to review the actual audio, these rates are just an estimate.  Once we review your audio and determine its quality, we will provide you with the exact fee for the completed transcript.
